classic car show at the Necedah Area School District
Sponsored by the Necedah American Legion, Necedah 100 will host a classic car show at the Necedah Area School District on Saturday, June 29, rain or shine. Please join us as a spectator or a participant.
The show begins with registration for participants at 8am and is open to the public starting at 9am and will go until 3pm. Early Registration for participants is $10 (up to June 22) and on site registration is $15. Spectators are free. Free will donations will also be accepted. Cash and checks will be accepted at the Necedah Area MS/HS office. Please put car show on the message line.
Cars will be judged and dash plaques are available for the first 20 vehicles. Awards will be also be given.
There will be a blues band and barbeque and we are working on a special surprise, so keep your fingers crossed.
There are also several other events going on at the same time in the same place, so event goers will have the opportunity to see two Wisconsin Veterans Museum traveling exhibits and artifact trunks from every military era as well as collections about the history of Necedah and Wisconsin. There will be a documentary screening and discussion about the history of the Wisconsin National Guard and its campaigns in WWI with Major Brian Faltinson of the Wisconsin National Guard, as well as a bus tour of area Indian mounds with Dr. Kurt Sampson of the Dodge County Historical Society.
